Rookie Elementary Basketball League

Synergy’s Basketball program offers various levels of training, which are all designed to help kids learn the game. Athletes start with the basic concepts of dribbling, passing, and shooting, then taking those skills and advancing them by running through different drills and exercises during each practice.

Grades: Kindergarten through 5th grade
This is the perfect league for elementary school aged children who are new comers looking to learn basketball basics. Players will learn the proper techniques of shooting, dribbling, ball handling, passing and basic footwork. All practices are instructional and teach players the fundamentals needed for their league games.
K-1 games will be 3 on 3. Games will be played on a ½ court with 8-foot rims.
2nd grade through 5th grade games will be 5 on 5, full court.

Rookie Middle School Basketball League

Grades 6th through 8th
Synergy Sports offers a league for players in Middle School who do not want an overly competitive program, but prefer to learn or improve on their skills and game play. Players will work on shooting, dribbling, ball handling and passing. During their league games they will work on offensive and defensive concepts, as well as specific skills such as boxing out and defensive footwork.

Advanced Training (Pre-Competitive)

Grades: 1st through 5th
Synergy Basketball is committed to ensuring that all levels of atheltes have the opportunity to train and gain the best experience possible. Our Advanced Training program is designed to help players take the next step in their basketball career. This class will build on the fundamentals taught in our Rookie Leagues, but will move at a much faster pace to challenge each athlete to push him or herself. Major focus points will be on ball handling, attacking the basket, defensive footwork, passing and shooting.  These players will be hand selected by the coaching staff to ensure that we have the best interest of each athlete involved.
