Camp Plus Option - Includes Swim Lessons:

New this summer, we will have an option to have swim lessons for your campers while we are at the pool during swim time. We will only offer swim lessons weeks 5-12 on Tuesday and Thursday when we go to the pool. The camp plus option will be limited to 20 campers each week.

Week 5: Party in the USA – June 29-July 3
Each day we will visit a different state and play games that fit with what each state is
known for. For example, one day we will visit Florida and play water games, do crab
walk relay races and eat oranges.
 
Week 6: Highlighter & Neon Week - July 6-10
Dress in neon all week!! We will have special games, a glow party one day and enjoy a
fun week of activities.
 
Week 7: Pirates – July 13-17
Ahoy Matey!! Come Walk the Plank, Make a pirate flag, Tie-Dye shirts, Build a pirate
sword, go on a treasure hunt and play Capture the Black Pearl.
 
Week 8: Hawaiian Hullabaloo – July 20-24
Get ready to have a blast Hawaiian Style. We will have a water balloon fight, play water
games, do the limbo, have a luau and Tie-Dye shirts.
 
Week 9: Holidays - July 27-31
We will celebrate a different holiday every day during the week. We will ring in the New
Year, go on an Easter Egg Hunt, enjoy a late Fourth of July party, have a Spooktacular
day and celebrate Christmas in July.
 
Week 10: Olympic Spirit – August 3-7
We will celebrate the Olympics with various games, competitions, and obstacle courses.
We will make Olympic Flags and cheer on our favorite athletes all week!
 
Week 11: Field Days – August 10-14
During the morning hours ages 8 and up will head outside to play ultimate frisbee,
outdoor capture the flag, kickball, frisbee golf, baseball and so much more. Ages 5-7 will
play their own special games at Synergy.
 
Week 12: HOMECOMING WEEK - August 17-21
School is about to start so lets get in the Spirit of Homecoming. We will wear our favorite jerseys, put on our craziest socks, see who has the wildest hair and much more.
WHAT ARE CAMP HOURS?
Regular Day Camp and Summer Camp hours are 7:45am-5:30pm for full day registration. If you wish to do half-day registration that is available in-house and your child can attend camp for 4 hours. 
 
WHEN DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR SUMMER CAMP?
Registration is now open. Pre-registration is required for all camps and done online. This includes summer camp, day camps and holiday camps. Synergy reserves the right to cancel camp at any time due to low registration numbers. Half-Day Registration is done in-house only.
 
WHEN DO I PAY FOR SUMMER CAMP, SPORTS CAMPS, DAY CAMPS ETC?
You must pay for summer camp by the first day that your camper attends for the week or each day that your camper attends. Pre-registration is required in order to guarantee a place. Sports camps require a 2 week advance pre-registration. Payments are done online when registering your camper.
 
WHAT DOES MY TEAM MEMBER NEED TO BRING EACH DAY?
Send your camper in athletic clothes that can get dirty and tennis shoes. Campers need to come with a backpack that has a water bottle, lunch, snacks and a small amount of money for snacks if they do not bring their own second snack. Kona Ice will be coming on Wednesday’s if your camper would like to purchase something.
 
WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS ALLERGIES, MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS?
Be sure to fill out our medical form and leave it at the Synergy Sports Office and discuss any concerns with a Synergy Sports instructor. Synergy Sports welcomes children with special needs; please contact our camp director at info@synergysportsmo.com to discuss. If a child is injured, first aid will be administered, and 911 will be called in an emergency.
 
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS SICK OR IS UNABLE TO ATTEND SUMMER CLUB FOR ANOTHER REASON?
If your child misses a day, a phone call is appreciated, but not required. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for any missed days. The only exception is for a withdrawal on doctor’s orders, in which case we will prorate a refund based on the remaining days of camp. Synergy Sports will not issue refunds for a child dismissed from a program because of unacceptable behavior.
 
WHEN DO CAMPERS SWIM AND GO ON FIELD TRIPS?
Our goal is to swim every Tuesday and Thursday possible, however this is dependent on pool temperatures, weather forecast and pool availability. If there is a 40% chance of rain or higher we will not go to the pool. Please pack your campers swim suit, towel, sunscreen and deck shoes everyday.
 
On Wednesdays and Fridays in the summer we go on field trips. when the weather permits. We will be going to a few different places with the campers to bring new games and experiences for them. We will be going to:

Stephens Lake Park
Grindstone Park Again
Bethal Park
 
Again, if there is a 40% chance of rain or higher we will not be leaving the club. If we do go on a field trip, we will depart Synergy by 9:00am.
 
HOW ARE CAMPERS TRANSPORTED TO THE POOL AND ON FIELD TRIPS?
Synergy owns a bus to take the kids to and from the pool as well as on the field trips.
 
DO YOU HAVE A BEHAVIOR POLICY?
Synergy Camps emphasizes a safe and fun camp environment for all campers so behavior is essential to a good overall experience for everyone involved. Should a camper chose not to follow the rules set forth, the following steps will be taken to handle the situation: Verbal Warning Camper removed from the group for a period of time to redirect behavior Parent will be notified of behavior If behavior continues camper will be asked to leave camp. Synergy Camps reserves the right to dismiss a camper without refund for any behavior that threatens or endangers the welfare and/or safety of a camper, instructor, or person involved in camp is any form of bullying to fellow campers or camp authority or has disrespectful behavior to camp authority.
 
ARE ELECTRONICS OR OUTSIDE TOYS ALLOWED?
Please do not send your child to camp with electronics, fidget spinners or outside toys other than their own ball. They will not be allowed to play with them or use them during camp hours.
 
IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
If your child forgot something, please check with the counselors. We take everything else to Good Will once a month otherwise.

Designed just for your child, our action-packed days feature various sports, swimming, themed weeks and field trips to keep the kids having fun and the days moving. We strive to meet the different interests of each camper by challenging them to learn and develop in many different sports and activities throughout the summer. 

Each week, campers will play Dodgeball, GaGa Ball, Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Kickball, Volleyball, Capture the Flag, and take part in different challenges and fun and exciting games. Let us help your child learn and grow all while becoming a well-rounded kid this summer.

Camp hours are 7:45am-5:30pm. We offer week-long options, single day options, and half day options (8:00am-12:00pm/1:00-4:00pm). 

Arrival & Pick-up
There is not a set drop-off or pick-up time at our Synergy Facility. There is a daily sign-in sheet located at the front desk of the club. Please make sure all parent contact information is accurate. As you pick your camper up, please be sure to sign them out at the front desk or with a counselor if picking them up from the pool or field trips.

Field Trips & Swimming
Field Trips and swim time are a great way to change our days up during the summer months. The campers have a lot of fun and enjoy getting out of the Synergy facility. At Synergy our Field Trips are Free!

Field Trip and swimming days are Tuesday-Friday weather permitting. We will go to Oakland Park Pool with  on the days we swim. Field Trips will vary each week to various parks around Columbia.

Lunch & Snacks
Each camper will need to bring their own lunch Monday - Thursday. On Friday's, Synergy will provide a hot lunch for all campers. 
Each camper will need to bring 2 snacks each day or money to buy snacks at the snack bar.

What to bring:
Swimsuit, towel and sunscreen (T, W, Th & F)
Bag to keep all their belongings
Lunch and Drink (we provide lunch on Friday)
Two snacks or money to purchase snacks (Kona Ice comes at 3:30 on Wednesday's)
Wear gym clothes and closed toe shoes

Staff:
Our experienced Synergy Sports staff is full of energy and enthusiasm ready to participate in games and activities with the campers everyday. Each counselor is selected based on their individual skill set and leadership qualities.
